Without a doubt, Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha popularly known as Rita Dominic is one of the most talented, gorgeous and fashion-forward women Nigeria and even the world has encountered.
She was born into the royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State on the 12th of July 1975, as the youngest of four siblings. Her parents who are now late were medical practitioners- her father, a medical doctor while her mother was a nurse.
Her early years were spent in the Southern part of Nigeria where she attended the prestigious Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.  In 1999, she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Dominic’s venture into the realm of movies began when she was a child. She would strive to participate in school plays and also appeared on children’s television shows in Imo state. She got her big break when she starred in her very first movie, “A Time to Kill’ which turned out to be a blockbuster.
Since then, she has starred in over a hundred Nollywood movies till date and it doesn’t look she will be stopping any time soon. Some of the films she has taken part in include: Singles and Married, Girls Cot, ’76, Bound.
Asides being known for her on-screen prowess, Dominic is also so effortlessly in style and on the trend that we sometimes feel her first calling was Fashion. Unarguably, Rita Dominic is a style star in every single way; she delivers on red carpet style, stuns in casual outfits, and just completely kills it in native attires- aso ebi-too.
